Compliance & Sustainability

We're committed to doing things right – for our customers, our partners, and the planet.

As part of the Laltex Group, we build compliance, sustainability and transparent recycling information into our products as standard. This means less risk, less confusion, and greater peace of mind for you and your customers.

Compliance

Our products follow key recycling and labelling regulations across Europe. We include recognised symbols and multi-language care labels to ensure accuracy and clarity for end users

UK ORPL Recycling Logos

We use official UK OPRL recycling logos so customers can quickly identify whether packaging can be recycled or requires alternative disposal. This supports correct recycling behaviour and reduces contamination.

Multi-Language Care Labels

Our care labels are provided in multiple languages, ensuring compliance across international markets and helping customers understand fibre content and handling instructions clearly.

Languages included:

  • English
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Spanish
  • Dutch
  • Swedish
  • Polish
  • Turkish
Here is an example of one of our labels:

Transparency

We clearly label materials and disposal routes using country-specific sorting logos. This makes recycling easy and supports local waste management systems.

For Italy, we include the required sorting symbols.
Example: "Cartellino e cordino: PAP 21, carta. Raccolta carta."
This identifies paper components and the correct collection stream.

For Spain, we use nationally recognised sorting icons so customers can place packaging in the correct containers.

For France, we include the Triman logo and sorting instructions, guiding consumers through correct recycling and disposal in line with French regulations.

Sustainability

Compliance is only one part of our responsibility. We are actively reducing the environmental impact of our buildings and day-to-day operations.

Solar Power at our Head Office

We have installed over 550 solar panels on the roof of our UK headquarters. These generate over 203,000 kWh of electricity each year, helping to power our operations and reducing our reliance on grid energy. This investment offsets around 48 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually.

Planet Mark Certification

Our parent company Laltex Group has been Planet Mark certified for more than three years.

This certification recognises our commitment to:

  • Measuring our own carbon footprint
  • Reducing our emissions year on year
  • Engaging everyone in the business in our sustainability journey
  • Communicating our progress openly

By tracking our impact and setting clear targets, we're continually working to improve our performance and support a lower-carbon future.

By choosing RJM, you're choosing products that are already aligned with key European recycling and labelling requirements, backed up by genuine action on sustainability in our own operations. That means fewer headaches, fewer surprises, and branding you can be proud to put your name to.
